The Hogarth Health Club

The Hogarth Health Club is a leafy jewel set in two acres of beautifully maintained grounds just off the Chiswick High Road.

The club features a full complement of activities and treatments, as well as a host of social events. Your membership will include one complimentary Personal Training session every month!

The Chiswick site in Airedale Avenue, London W4, was acquired in 1978 and a decision was made to develop the site on country club lines, with health and sports facilities. The Hogarth Health Club, which opened in 1981, was one of the very first of such clubs in Europe and carried the first range of Nautilus equipment outside the USA.

As the facilities at Hogarth aged, an extensive programme of expansion and refurbishment was completed in 1993, which provided entirely new changing facilities and a new pool. The Hogarth Clinic was also established in 1993 with a wide range of practitioners providing a most successful centre for both conventional and complementary medicine. Further refurbishments followed with major developmnet works of improvement in 2007 where a new first floor was added to provide a dedicated holistic studio, new Clinic area and Beauty Spas.

I was a member here and I think it is a wonderful example of what health clubs should be like. The setting is really calming, set in some leafy gardens just off the Chiswick high road, The social life is great as the bar is popular and one of the few gyms where you are able to get a drink!

I really like this place - there's a lovely relaxed atmosphere and very nice staff. Highly recommended.
